Morning I am asking for prayers for the family of these 5 victims last Thursday in Staten Insland New York in Port Richmond there was an apartment fire a mother her 4 children died this was an house made into apartments they said seems like only 2 families should of lived there there were 17 well it gets worse her 14 year old son who they say was troubled they said he did it well I read the other day that mom did it this that the story is sad enough then the smoke detector comes up as a problem.
Now the house had had citations what came out of that beats me one problem was the wiring she owed a lot of rent to the landlord and was being sued not talking I do not know how he was still allowing her to live there the oldest child was 14 the baby was 2 now I do not wont to be graphic here and go into details go online type in Staten Insland News go over to the side on the right there may be more stories still on it okay and you can post comments to this site you do have to sign up no charge not knocking the news people but true like someone said get your story straight and the police department to this is sad real sad and God knows what there family is going through.
Now I am blessed to been able to move into a brand new apartment building back in December 2007 we have all the fire stuff fire alarms which have a red light that blinks that light don't be blinking speak up tell the landlord, we have fire alarms yes like buildings do and everybody goes off some of the people do not like that but let me tell you something you sleep through that loud thing I do not know and then sprinklers now yes God forbid a bad fire would break out you would have water damage believe me but a life cannot be replaced.
I I have a 17 year old special needs daughter now and one morning summer before last she was going to summer school about 6:30 alarm goes off well I said okay who is it now I open my bedroom door look smoke coming out the microwave scared me to death my daughter she is sneaky yes she is anyways she had I guess put that container of chili in that microwave and turned on I got rid of that thing one you had to stand and watch your food button to turn off was messed up another scare went one day in my daughter's bedroom and plugged up her radio sparks come out the socket this was on a Saturday well I prayed all weekend Lord please do let a fire start called my manger that following Monday morning and she had the maintence man come out.
Well he checked it it is okay you wont the same one I said no no matter how silly it may of sounded now I do not wont to scare any of you but make sure your batteries are working in your smoke detectors okay especially you are renting from someone now try to keep your stoves cleaned that can cause a problem to me I know it is a lot of work me myself last 2 weeks feel like I have been cleaning like crazy now yesterday there was a house fire around the corner from my apartment building on Loudon Avenue there are 2 houses across the street from the 2 homes on Loudon he said a pot of water now all this fire mess is making me nerves for real thanks shyshy 471 @aidpage.com
